I woke up extremely thankful! I won’t even get into how this year has been such a rollercoaster for me. Some highs and lows. But through it all, I’ve managed to get back on my feet and I remain eternally grateful to God! Today, I just want to share some of the things I’m so grateful for.
When the pandemic began and lockdowns were put in place, I just had the urge to buy art supplies and get into a hobby that would help me relax. As some of you might know, I’m a sucker for anything artsy. It was comforting to know that I still had my art streak on and painting became a hobby I always made time for and looked forward to. Today I’m thankful for the opportunity to share my paintings with the whole world. I’m even more excited as these paintings will be finding a spot in some homes very soon. My Holiday release is out and I’m super excited and nervous at the same time. Do check it out on my instagram page Cbartgh.
I don’t know how I would have gotten through this year without the support system I currently have. Friends who have become family and family who have been super supportive throughout this year. I’m Thankful for every one of you. I survived this year thanks to your support, humor and listening ear. God richly bless every one of you!
For the little humans who get to call me Aunty Christy or just Christy, these same little humans who wear me out daily whenever they come visit, I am so grateful for their presence in my life. All the goofy moments spent with them brings me so much joy! I am thankful for my lovely nieces and nephews. I will forever be their favorite “Rich and Cool Aunty”. Lol!
Making an impact will always be dear to me. Be it small or big, it just brings me joy. For the opportunity to be able to do this and make a mark in some lives, I am super grateful. It is humbling for me and for this reason, I am very thankful.
Lastly I’m thankful that I still have my faith intact. Prayer has been my life support since the beginning of this year. I can confidently and proudly say that I’ve become a better Christian this year. There have been so many disappointments and challenges that have hit me this year. I have gracefully gotten back up by the Grace of God and for that I am super thankful. Had it not been for the Lord….
How about you? What are you thankful for?
